Kip Butler, DVM – Owner of Homestead Animal Hospital
Dr. Kip Butler joined our practice in July 2014, and in November 2016 became the new owner of Homestead Animal Hospital! Born and raised in Cobleskill, New York, Dr. Butler graduated from The State University of New York at Cobleskill with an Associates in Science Biology and Animal Science. He then completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Vermont. In 2008, he earned his Doctorate from Kansas State University and has been practicing in New York since. Dr. Butler has been involved in all facets of veterinary medicine from large animal ambulatory practice to overnight emergency critical care and small animal general practice.

Amanda Little, DVM
Dr. Little is an area native, growing up in Ballston Lake, NY. She obtained her Bachelors in Animal Science from Cornell University and went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, also from Cornell University. After graduation, Dr. Little completed a small animal medicine and surgical internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey. Her professional interests include small animal medicine and emergency care. Dr. Little can frequently be found researching medicine, reading articles, and tidying her messy desk space! When not at work, Dr. Little enjoys spending time with her husband, their families, their three adorable cats (Smoosh the Persian, Zola the Domestic Shorthair, and Gump the tabby!), and Tito the tiny dog!

Tanya Hutchins (Lewis), DVM
Dr. Lewis joined our team in the fall of 2019. Dr. Lewis graduated from Ohio State University. We are sure that you and your pets will love Dr. Lewis as soon as you meet her. When not at work Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time doing counted cross stitch, running, horseback riding, and is an avid reader. Dr. Lewis and her husband share their home with two cats (Hercules and Dora) and their dog Eddie.
